The Confucius Institute of Washington at UW (CIWA) will be organizing a preliminary contest for the 14th Chinese
Proficiency Competition for College Students. The preliminary contest will consist of three parts: Chinese Language Proficiency (Speech Contest), Knowledge of China, and Chinese Culture Talent Show, CIWA will invite Chinese educational experts as judges to select out the First, Second and Third Place winners among the students who participate in all three parts and single prize winner for each part of the contest.
The first-prize winner will be nominated for the 14th Final Competition for College Students that will be held in August 2015 in China. All international travel expenses and local accommodation in China will be covered by the organizer.
All College students (including undergraduate and graduate) in the State of Washington who are non-Chinese citizen and non-native Chinese speakers are eligible to apply online by Friday, April 10.
